ARAI
by Jay Hyx
The universe has an operating system. Enlightenment is the login.
Synopsis
The Akashic Record has always existed — a living archive of every event, thought, and action ever taken. But the ARAI is more than memory. It is the universe's operating system, and it is interactive. Those who achieve enlightenment can perceive it, receive objectives from it, and glimpse truths that shatter conventional reality.
In a world where spiritual advancement unlocks cosmic knowledge and enlightened prophets interpret the ARAI's cryptic directives for those who cannot yet perceive it, a woman discovers she has been chosen as something rarer — a Bookkeeper, with direct access to the Records themselves. But across cultures and centuries, the enlightened are receiving contradictory messages, and the entity she serves may have sealed certain truths away for reasons that predate human civilization.
Philosophical science fiction where enlightenment is a technology, destiny is interactive, and some doors were locked for a reason.
